  • Product Description

The Hubsan H107D X4 Quadcopter is a quad-rotor, palm-sized RC helicopter that features a 2.4GHz, 4-Channel transmitter and a built-in 0.3MP, 640 x 480 resolution camera. This quadcopter is a great starter drone if you are looking for FPV (first person view) flying. This mini drone is recommended for beginners as well as advanced fliers as it is fairly easy to learn on and super fun to fly! The most notable feature of this quadcopter is its size, even with a prop-to-prop wingspan of just 5.75" it sill has room for a camera. Whether you want to fly it inside or outside it will do well for any type of environment. This is a step up from the Hubsan X4 H107C as you are actually fly by video instead of just record video. To record video there is a Micro SD/Micro SDHC memory card slot below the "tail" section that is activated using a button just to the side of the card slot. Finally, a 3.7V, 380mAh lithium-polymer battery tucks away inside the body providing up to 7 minutes flying time.  If you are looking for something without video recording check out our our beginners guide to quadcopters and drones where we talk more about the Hubsan X4 H107L and some other great quads.

The transmitter (TX) supports both Mode 1 and Mode 2 stick configurations. Mode 2 is typically preferred in the U.S. as many argue it more closely simulates actual aircraft controls, however some international users may be more accustomed to Mode 1.

We also recommend the protection ring as well as the crash pack for when you are learning to fly!

    1. Crap, don't buy...

I bought this and was really excited when it arrived, unfortunately it wasn't long before disaster struck! On my first flight, none of the controls worked even though the copter was only 5m away (clearly in range). Because of this loss of signal, my copter continued to fly away and I LOST IT!!! By all means, keep buying from readyquadcopters.com, their deals and customer service are GREAT. But NEVER EVER buy Hubsan guys!!! on 11th Aug 2014

    2. Fun but is somewhat pricy

A little spendy for this version but FANTASTIC! It's heavy and slow but it does what it does. Check-out all of the versions of the X4. Blow every mind of every person over the age of 20 who hasn't heard of youtube and check out the X4... They are all easy to fly and cheap to crash but FPV is fun stuff. Shipper is CHOICE... I got it early. Also, you can use the transmitters from the other X4s to fly it! There is no FPV but you can save on batteries and try different control rates. HECKYEAH! on 20th Jun 2014
